The UC San Diego Internal Medicine Primary Care Training Track provides an individualized educational experience for residents interested in pursuing a career in primary care. Residents are trained to be exceptional outpatient clinicians who incorporate biomedical knowledge, the impact of psychosocial factors and behavior, and social determinants of health in the care of patients.
