UCSD Moore's Cancer Center
UCSD MOORE'S CANCER CENTER is our newly constructed outpatient and research center for comprehensive cancer care at UCSD. Housing medical, surgical and radiation oncology clinics along with laboratories, infusion center and pharmacy, the center focuses the translation of healthcare discoveries to healthcare delivery in a single building.
UCSD Ambulatory Care Center
UCSD AMBULATORY CARE CENTER houses the subspecialty clinics for the UCSD Hillcrest Medical Center. Residents rotate through these clinics as part of their PRIME and consult rotations.
UCSD Hillcrest Emergency Room
UCSD HILLCREST EMERGENCY ROOM is one of the primary ERs serving the San Diego community at large. Functioning as the county hospital and university hospital, residents rotating through the Hillcrest ER care for a wide range of patient populations, disease extent and types of illness.
VA Outpatient Clinics
VA OUTPATIENT CLINICS provide a broad exposure to several medicine and surgical subspecialties. Interns and residents rotate through these clinics as part of their PRIME and consult rotations.
VA Urgent Care Center / Emergency Room
VA URGENT CARE CENTER / EMERGENCY ROOM provides emergent and urgent care services to the San Diego VA population. Interns rotate through the UCC/ER caring for patients with common lower acuity urgent ambulatory complaints (joint injuries, pnuemonia, eye injuries, etc.) Residents rotate through the UCC/ER caring for higher acuity patients (chest pain, shock, dysrhythmias, respiratory distress, etc.)
San Diego Hospice
SAN DIEGO HOSPICE is a leader in hospice care and education. Located next on a panoramic mesa top next to UCSD Hillcrest hospital, San Diego Hospice provides both inpatient and outpatient hospice services. Housestaff rotate through the inpatient unit gaining experience caring for hospice patients and attending lectures by world experts in pain management, family support approaches and end of life issues.
